W.Ave Arts is an independent, non-profit arts organisation dedicated to strengthening our community through creativity, collaboration, and accessible cultural spaces.
Founded in 2019, we recognised that by working together, we could create meaningful opportunities, overcome challenges, and build a better future for the next generation. Our focus is on action — supporting artists, empowering people, and creating inclusive spaces where creativity can thrive.
In 2022, we established The Compound, our permanent creative hub in St Leonard’s. Designed as an open, welcoming space, The Compound brings together artists, makers, performers, and the wider community under one roof.
